courage

My Dad and Mom are in China smug*lin* the word of the Saviour to people who are SO hungry for His Word.  This is the 4th year they are doing this and I'm so proud of them.  This is SOOOOO them!  Their hearts are fixed on God and they are following a call that they felt was extended to them.  This isn't easy~by any means.  It means walking a long way with a backpack full of books on your back, trying to get them across the border, and then, succeed or fail, you have to walk back after an exhausting, FULL day.  They have great fellowship with the people they go with, and it's not all work...Mom went shopping and bought a *few* purses (...how about one of almost every color, every style.  can you tell we're related?  how about some shoes to go with that?  but i digress...)  She sent me this quote today, which is so perfect for their situation:

Courage is not the absence of fear; but the belief that something is more important than fear.

Yep, they're brave alright.

Thanks, Dad & Mom for doing what the likes of me would not do...you're a special couple~may God bless your work above what you could ask or think!
